Youth Training/Self-Help
Transitioning from high school to adult life is an important stage for all youth. Decisions made at this time, will affect the course of young people's lives. Appropriate transitional services can help these youth to face challenges that may lead to poverty due to chronic unemployment and in many instances under employment.
An understanding of one's disability or challenges, of one's rights, and of one's personal and community responsibilities coupled with effective decision-making and self-advocacy skills will leave him/her in a better position to access needed services.
Our Community Based Youth Training/Self-Help Programs has been developed to empower youth with activities of daily living through community-centered planning.
