Anyone can contact us for information, including:

You do not need to be enrolled in services to receive information or referrals.
What types of resources can you help with?
We provide information and referrals related to many areas including:
- Personal Assistance Services (PASP)
- Medicaid and health benefits

- Independent living supports
- Food assistance programs

What Is Moceans Mission?
Our goal is to provide information, referrals, guidance and peer to peer support so individuals can access services.
Do I have to have a disability to call?
No. While our focus is supporting individuals with disabilities, we can often provide information to anyone seeking community resources.
Is there a cost for Moceans Services?
No. Information & Referral services are free and confidential.
Can you help me apply for benefits and services?
Yes. Staff can help explain eligibility requirements and direct you to the correct application process. In some cases, we can assist with completing applications or gathering required documentation.
Do you provide case management?
We only provide long-term case management for specific programs. If you are not eligible we can help you find other programs that do case management.
What counties do you serve?
Our Center for Independent Living serves individuals in:
- Monmouth County
- Ocean County
However, we may still be able to provide referrals or engage with individuals outside these counties for social support programs and events.
How do I request Information & Referral services?

What if I need help finding multiple services?
That’s okay. Many people contact us with several needs. Staff can help prioritize resources and connect you with multiple programs that may be able to assist.
Are your services confidential?
Yes. Information shared during Information & Referral is treated confidentially and used only to help connect you with appropriate services.
